My name is Alexis Martin. I'm a first generation American citizen, born in Cuba. Growing up with family in Cuba gave me not only traditions, but showed me the rich heritage Cuba has to offer. America gave me opportunities, and new traditions.

I started My Cuban Store, from a small room in my house in the year 2002. Back then I was a computer consultant with a small practice in South Florida. Although I loved my profession my entrepreneurial spirit was very strong. I was always trying to create and operate a retail internet business.

Opportunity comes when you look for it.

I started by selling Cuban memorabilia and pre-Castro coins. One day my wife and I were invited to a beautiful guayabera wedding by the sea in Miami. We thought the guayaberas might be a good addition to our business. Almost immediately those guayaberas became the most popular item we carried.

We carefully hand selected reputable manufacturers who best represented this traditional shirt. They became our first supplier, and we still buy from them today. But after learning the ins and outs of clothing manufacture, we started relations with factories in Latin America and Asia. Today we are proud of our own "Caribbean Classic Wear" brand of guayabera.

A Family affair

MyCubanStore.com is a family business. My wife, my father in-law and occasionally the kids help me to go the extra mile for our customers. We've taught our kids our simple success formula: hard work, honesty and dedication. We hope they will carry this teaching throughout their life.

Not only do we get to share our heritage and some of our traditions, but we also get the satisfaction of knowing our customers are completely satisfied. It is especially gratifying to be able to demonstrate for our kids that everything is possible when you're willing to work for it in this great nation.

Do you have a physical store in Miami?
No we do not have a physical store in Miami. We are a 100% online retail store.

Do you have a catalog?
We do not have a catalog at this time all our products can be found online.

What is your return policy?
We have a 365 day return policy as long as the merchandize is not used and has all the original tags. Click here to read our return policy.

How fast do you ship your products?
We ship daily upon availability of the inventory. If the item is in stock we ship your order the same day.

Are your clothing American sizes?
Yes our clothing all have American sizes. Please visit our sizing page for more info.

Where are you products manufactured?
Our products are manufactured with very high quality in the United States, Mexico, and China.

I live in Miami can I go to your warehouse to buy or return a product?
Our policy is a 100% online retail store and our warehouse does not permit for retail local traffic.

Do you sell merchandize made in Cuba?
We do not sell any merchandize made in Cuba. It is illegal to do trading with Cuba.

Can you manufacture a custom shirt for me?
Yes we can manufacture custom shirts for large orders. The total minimum order must be at least 100 shirts.

Can you do custom embroidery?
We do custom embroidery. The total minimum order must be at least 6 shirts.

Can I get a discount for wholesale purchases?
Yes we provide discounts for wholesale purchases. Discounts will be assigned individually please contact us with your inquiry.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do ship internationally. However we may require to verify your order prior to ship.

I found an item I like but you do not have my size, why?
Sometime there are various reasons why we do not have an item in your size. In the case of larger sizes e.g. 3X and 4X some manufacturers do not make them. In the case of “Final Sale Items” all the sizes might not be available. Also, due to the popularity of our shirts, some items are sold even before we receive the inventory and we need to restock. Restocking can take longer if the shirt was manufacture outside the United States. Most of the time we carry a large size inventory in all our products.

I want to send a present to a friend and I would like for you not to include the cost can you do that?
Yes. We send all our products with packing slips not invoices or receipts therefore all our orders go without the pricing information.
